HOLIDAY VICTORIAN BALL
It was another sold-out crowd, and, having attended the preparatory dance classes ahead of time, everyone was eager to step onto the ballroom floor. First, though, after hours of prepping dresses, tuxedos and hairstyles, many gathered in the beautiful dining hall of the Historic Crags Lodge for an impressive sit-down dinner. The dancers knew that tasty refreshments would also be served at intermission, but first would come much delightful dancing.

One year, we were honored to have as our guest the fabulous and famous Lillian Russell, known world-wide for the beauty of her voice, her wardrobe, her face and her figure. She delighted us by performing her signature piece, "Come Down, My Evening Star" and later, sang "Beautiful Dreamer" as the dancers waltzed the night away. Thank you, Lillian, for taking time from your busy touring schedule to join us for our special evening.
